Participation, Experience, Hope

Claire Kane, a young Canadian studying at the University of North Carolina, recently visited our Seeds of Survival partner in Honduras – the Foundation for Participatory Research with Honduran Farmers (FIPAH). She writes, “It was a privilege to see the changes they are making, and that there is a way to support sustainable development and social justice. It gave me hope for the future.”

Rising Temperatures

CBC News has reported that higher global temperatures forecast for the rest of this century will lead to major disruptions in the world food supply unless farmers can adapt to the changing climate. That’s precisely the message USC Canada and it’s partners have been sending to the government of Canada for several years.
