Economics and the World Food Crisis
USC Canada and Octopus Books are proud to present an evening of discussion with Wayne Roberts and Jim Stanford focused on Economics and the World Food Crisis.
Looking back at a year of crumbling global economies and food riots, acclaimed food security activist, Roberts, and Globe & Mail economics columnist, Stanford, will look at how we got where we are. They will also discuss the implications of the parallel collapse of our economic and industrialized food systems.
