Who does the food system serve? What we grow, produce, and eat has changed dramatically in just a few decades. How did this happen and what are we doing about it?
Come find out more in a thought-provoking evening with Canadian food justice activist Wayne Roberts, author of The No-Nonsense Guide to World Food. See the premiere screening of The Story of Food – USC’s new short, animated film that will get you thinking about our broken food system. More than simply identifying what’s gone wrong, we’ll explore what we can do to rebuild our food system together.
Join us for this free World Food Day event. Doors open at 6:30 for a reception. Event starts at 7:30. contact Sarah at 613-234-6827 ext.230 or smohan@usc-canada.org for information.
