A Growing Movement!

That’s the theme of the brand new 2010 issue of our Jottings newsletter, which is now available online.

So what is Food Sovereignty and how is it different from Food Security? Luisa Gomez – a Honduran farm leader you’ll read about in this latest issue – explains it best: “Food security is the government making sure there’s enough food in the stores, whether or not people have enough money to buy it. Food Sovereignty is people with the ability to grow their own food and feed themselves.”
