The first of several important new reports about Canadian agriculture and food that will be coming out in the coming weeks, Lauren Baker’s Menu 2020 offers a series of recommendations for coordinating the Ontario food system. Through the report, which offers 10 ideas to help fix our broken food system, Baker hopes to stimulate discussion around food policy in Canada.

It does seem that a worldwide movement is underway, linking neighbours north and south, seeking more ecologically sensitive agricultural practices and a fair and healthy food system. Read the full article in the Globe & Mail.
