Thanks for dropping by. We love celebrating seeds. But for every amazing seed, there’s a long history of seed savers who made it possible.
Here’s where you’ll find seed keeners, champions, savers, storytellers – and you. Yes you! Tell us your story of seeds. Connect with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #celebrateseeds and you might see yourself right here! Or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are looking for a creative and effective person to join our team as Regional Coordinator - Quebec for The Bauta Family Initiative on Canadian Seed Security (BFICSS). The Coordinator will implement regional programs, lead on budget management, monitoring and evaluation in Quebec, and participate actively in the program's national team.
The BFICSS is building a national movement to enhance seed biodiversity, keep seed in the public domain, and promote ecological seed production. The program is implemented across Canada in collaboration with food and farming organizations, farmers, researchers and other partners. Click here for more information.
Remember seed saver Aabir Dey? He's always has great insight regarding seeds. Here he is speaking with lawyer Glenford Jameson about seed security in Canada. Listen in!
