USC’s Lotta 100th Celebration!
USC Canada was founded in 1945 as the Unitarian Service Committee by Dr. Lotta Hitschmanova (1909-1990). This November marks the 100th anniversary of her birth. On November 12th, we’re organizing our very own Lotta celebration at Arts Court Theatre (2 Daly Ave). Click here for details.

In this 100th anniversary of the birth of our founder, Dr. Lotta Hitschmanova (1909-1990), Canadians from all walks of life are celebrating her life and legacy. One of the first – and youngest – to join the celebrations was Catherine Arnold, a 16-year-old high school student at Highland Secondary, in Comox, B.C.
