Runners for Farmers

The weekend edition of the National Financial Post noted some wonderful support for USC’s Run for Biodiversity in the National Capital Marathon on May 30th. Ottawa Investment counsel firm Doherty and Associates Ltd has generously offered $100 for each of the first 20 USC runners who have signed up; a $2,000 pledge! SoS 20th Anniversary Benefit Concert

A Project with Legs

It was a record breaking weekend for the 13 runners who managed to “Go the Distance” for USC Canada. Preliminary results for this year’s Going the Distance project indicate that runners raised over $2,700 for USC’s Seeds of Survival program, with close to $900 in pledges still to be processed.
