  • CoDevelopment Canada offers a variety of resources for global education. This site provides information on the kits and how to order.
  • Unicef Publications has produced Journeys Into Global Understanding. Organizing a group visit to study development – a helpful guide to organizing a school trip/project linked to global education. To order call Unicef at 604-874-3666. Each copy is $5. 
  • Oxfam Canada has a variety of free educational resources available for download. Topics include human rights, economic literacy, fair trade, hunger and sweatshops.
  • Development and Peace is an international development organization whose information campaigns change on a regular basis, but whatever their current campaign, they will have plenty of information on the issue available on their site in both .html and .pdf format.
  • Kairos is a faith-based social justice organization whose website offers a workshop outline on social movements and a kit to help people explore the World Social Forum movement.
  • The Victoria International Development Education Association website has a "learning resources" section with some excellent tools that can be ordered online. Topics include global issues, environment and community development. The site also has links to other resources on a variety of other global ed related topics.
  • CIDA’s Global Classroom Initiative website offers links to pages that are useful for both teachers and students.
  • The Human Rights Education Association website has a whole section of educational resources for different levels.
  • The Butterfly 208 is a CIDA website designed to help youth learn about social, economic, governmental and cultural aspects of developing countries, as well as Canada’s role in international development. Participants research and create a project as part of a contest. Prizes are educational trips to developing countries. The site includes a teacher section.
  • Know Your Rights!  Teens can now get involved in human rights work through this New-York-based site. Find out how teen groups can create projects that educate, enlighten, and advocate change.
  • Physicians for Global Survival offers a kit of resource materials, in pdf format, on how to be active on nuclear disarmament issues at a community level.
  • Global Education, the website for AusAID’s Global Education Program, offers resources for teachers and students on a variety of global education topics.
