The Seed Map is a teaching and advocacy tool designed to show the state of global agro-biodiversity. Anyone can use it – teachers, gardeners, policy makers, and more! The map identifies key threats to the world’s seed and biodiversity systems, and highlights regions where peoples’ movements are fighting to protect biodiversity – and winning!
More than a Map
When you order, we’ll send an easy-to-understand, full-size (26”x39”) poster, ready to hang on your wall, or in a classroom. With your order, you’ll also have access to an interactive website*, and a CD* of that website for ease of reference.
The map is available in English, French*, and Spanish*, so be sure to specify which language you prefer. Order yours today!!
Postage Costs and Quantities
This resource is free, but there is a cost to cover any shipping and handling charges. The map comes rolled in a sturdy mailing tube, keeping it in perfect condition for hanging or mounting.
For mailing in Canada, the Seed Map is $10; to the U.S., $15; and for international orders (EU, Japan, Australia, New Zealand), $30. Orders placed from countries not listed above need not pay shipping costs.
Quantities for all orders are limited to three copies per shipment. If you require additional copies, please fill out our electronic order form and we will contact you with a revised quote.

There is a choice for method of payment. You can pay online via credit card through PayPal, or via post with a personal cheque or money order. If paying by credit card, simply click the appropriate button above to begin.
If paying by cheque or money order, you’ll need to fill out our printable order form (PDF, 50kb) and send it along with your payment to USC Canada (Seed Map), 56 Sparks Street, Suite 705, Ottawa, ON, K1P 5B1, Canada. You can also avoid postage costs altogether by picking up your map at USC Canada’s office in Ottawa.
Additional Resources
The website that accompanies the map is not yet ready. When it does launch, we can send an email announcement to anyone who’s ordered a map. After you place your order, be sure to answer the short survey and let us know if we can contact you when the website launches.
