USC often joins Unitarian congregations across the country for speaking engagements, sharing information about our programs. Look for us this spring:

Seedy Saturdays – Across the Country
Early every spring, there are more than 40 Seedy Saturdays across Canada to exchange seeds, learn about healthy foods, and celebrate biodiversity. We’ll be at a good many with a display and sometimes with workshops. We’d love to meet you, so do come out.
USC will be attending the following events in 2012:

Reel Food Film Festival – March 22nd and 29th

This Spring’s edition of the Reel Food Film Festival features two Canadian films. To Make a Farm follows 5 young farmers on their journeys to start farming while Land Awakening is a journey to follow alternative food production in Spain, Canada, France, and Mexico. Doors open at 6:00pm and the films begin at 6:30pm. Each night will have a feature film along with a couple short films. Admission is free but a donation of $5 is suggested.
